Our course curriculum is highly comprehensive. Designed and developed by a panel of very educated and experienced curriculum planners and developers, our course curriculum covers both theoretical as well as practical aspects of preschool education. In-depth theoretical knowledge on subjects like child psychology, child growth and development, child management and organization, theory and practices in early childhood education, child health and nutrition etc. is imparted through lectures. The course content also extensively covers practical aspects of teacher training like making lesson plans, curriculum planning, skill training in rhymes, story-telling, craft and creativity making etc.

Each subject matter has been placed systematically and in a well-organized manner. The language used is simple and lucid and the text is replete with several relevant examples. The study material is handy and user-friendly and can be deciphered by one and all.

Detailed workshops related to phonics, rhymes - singing, story-telling, craft making, creativity, curriculum planning, lesson planning etc. are part of the programmes and trainees are made to attend them mandatorily. Workshops are usually scheduled on weekends and prior announcement of the schedule is made to the trainees so that they are able to plan well before-hand.

• planning and arranging creative play activities for children

Intensive practical training is given to our trainees through child observation, project work and internship. Our trainees get an opportunity to do internship for a month in our own play school to give hands-on experience about teaching methods, classroom management etc. During internship the trainees get an opportunity to interact with children and to observe teachers in classroom situation. They also get to feel and act as teachers. In fact such internship actually transforms them into real teachers.Trainees are also awarded with an Internship Certificate, which can be later used by them as a work-experience letter when they appear for job interviews.

Project work like making craft handbook, creativity manual, story board, flash cards etc. helps them to become more skilled and adept. Project work has allotted marks and submitting good project work can help trainees raise their aggregate marks and fetch better grades.Such project work can be later used by trainees when they go for job interviews and teaching demos to schools.

There are six study modules altogether.

Regular lectures are held for theory modules.

Workshops and Internship are conducted for practical modules.

Trainees have to appear for written examinations for theory modules. Viva-voce examinations and demos are conducted for practical-based modules.

Marks obtained by the trainee in all the modules are converted into an aggregate percentage. Grades are allotted on the basis of the aggregate percentage obtained.

Duration
All our courses are of one year duration. However, the course can be completed at any time within the one-year duration.

• Age: 18 years and above with no upper age limit
• Qualification: 10+2 level or above
